About UKFast

UKFast are one of the UK’s leading hosting and colocation providers. The company looks after world-leading brands, keeps the UK’s busiest airports’ check-in desks open and ensures the digital presence of public sector organisations is always online.

They own, manage and operate the UKFast data centre complex, with more than 30,000 sq ft of enterprise-grade, ISO-certified facilities.

Started in 1999 by Lawrence Jones MBE and his wife, Gail, UKFast has expanded into a team of more than 350 employees, with Lawrence and Gail as active in the business today as they were in the beginning.

The company is committed to making Manchester the UK’s number one tech city with a number of upgrades and programmes, including a collaboration with educational provider The Dean Trust to create a high school focused on digital literacy and a partnership with Manchester High School for Girls to reduce the gender gap across tech industries.
