About Virtual1

Virtual1 operate the most advanced digital network in the UK, working exclusively for the wholesale markets. They deliver a high-capacity, low-latency network, which is also privately connected to market-leading Unified Communications, Session Initiation Protocol and Cloud solutions.

Intelligence as well as performance is at the heart of their fully software-defined network, which through their award-winning 1Portal places the control of the solution directly in their partners’ hands.

Launched in 2007, Virtual1 employs more than 85 staff who have a passion for what they do and deliver innovative solutions that make UK businesses work.

Founder and Chief Executive Officer Tom O’Hagan is a leading figure in the telecommunications industry, both in the UK and internationally, with more than 15 years of experience.

The company is headquartered in London.

What is it like to work for Virtual1

Tom sits with the staff in an open-plan office and regularly takes employees out for breakfast meetings to allow them to share any feedback. He also delivers monthly updates for the entire workforce and runs an annual kick-off event, usually involving ping pong, at the start of the financial year.
