About Volume Ltd

Volume, the AI Agency, are an early leader in the areas of experiential artificial intelligence (AI), augmented reality, virtual reality and humanoid robotics.

Founded in 1997, the company has come a long way and is one of the UK’s first certified development partners for SoftBank Robotics. They helped to develop Pepper, the first humanoid robot capable of recognising the principal human emotions and adapt his behaviour to the mood of his interlocutor.

The company convert static online interactions into physical experience through robots such as Pepper. Whether greeting guests or working with children to improve their learning and performance, Volume brings visions to life.

Their Digital Campus is situated in Wokingham, Berkshire and has an innovative open-plan layout where there are no barriers with all staff sitting alongside each other.

The Chief Executive Officer and Head of AI and Robotics is Chris Sykes.
