About World Travel Holdings (UK) Ltd

Co-founded in June 2008 in the midst of the financial crisis, World Travel Holdings UK is one of the largest multi-brand travel distributors in the UK, based in the Lancashire town of Chorley.

As one of the UK’s fastest growing cruise retailers, they've quickly established themselves at the forefront of the industry. Delivering everything you would expect from a cruise retailer - the latest information about cruise holidays, advice on which cruise line and cabin type to choose and exclusive cruise deals.

Although they are a relatively new business, they have grown rapidly which has resulted in many job opportunities. Their senior team live and breathe their company values, the employee of the month is based around their values as is the yearly awards. They hold a weekly Senior Management meeting incorporating core areas of trading and the directors invite their platinum employees (those employees that have been with the business for 9 years or more) to a lunch meeting each month to provide an insight into future initiatives for the business and to welcome their suggestions.

They have recently invested in their managers of the future as a number of employees are undertaking a chartered manager degree apprenticeship through a local university, which is a 4 year program and on completion candidates will gain a BA (Hons) in Business Management and will obtain chartered management status.

WTH supports the local football team and the local cricket club who suffer from a lack of funding. They also provide a lot of support to local education institutes through seminars and talks and mock interviews. They work very closely with a youth charity based in the surrounding area and a local children's hospice and encourage their employees to volunteer at the venues and events.
