WRAP (Waste and Resources Action Programme) are a sustainability charity that works in the space between governments, businesses, communities and individuals. WRAP forges partnerships and initiatives to help the UK use resources more sustainably.
Their mission is to accelerate the move to a sustainable, resource-efficient economy by re-inventing how we design, produce and sell products, re-thinking how we use and consume products, and re-defining what is possible through reuse and recycling.
Founded in 2000, the charity has been led by Chief Executive Officer Marcus Gover since 2016.
The company offers flexi-time with only four core hours set in the working day, which means employees can better control their working day around their commitments. They can also bank up to seven additional hours per month and use these to take up to 13 flexi-days over the year. Again this gives greater control to their working month.
