About XLN for small business

XLN provide essential services such as energy, water, broadband and phone solutions to small businesses across every postcode in the UK.

They refer to small businesses as their ‘Heroes of the Economy’, and they train their teams in empathy, to understand the plight of the small business owner, so they can better connect, find solutions and resolve their queries.

Founded by Chief Executive Officer Christian Nellemann 17 years ago, their plans for the future include becoming a £500,000,000 business by 2020. Their core principles include professionalism, reliability, integrity, dedication and efficiency, and these values underpin the foundations of the business.

Christian spends time with everyone in the company across all functions, skipping management levels to retain a close understanding of what is making the business tick, receiving direct feedback from the floor to influence board decisions. The entire leadership team is closely connected to the wider teams across the business.
