Since being founded in 1995, Safety Media has proudly defined itself as an employee focused organisation.

The Solution

The Discover package

Workplace Insight Pro’s filtering, benchmarking and demographic analytics showed Safety Media where their engagement levels were lower and helped them to make improvements in certain areas of the organisation.

As a result of these self-assessments, they started hosting monthly team-building events and founded a ‘Just Ask’ scheme which now encourages their employees to talk to management when they need a bit more support or flexibility in their work.

The Outcome

Our methodology allowed Safety Media to measure how their staff felt about the organisation and provided them with the opportunities to make improvements.

They improved their Best Companies Index (BCI) score from 626.6 to 734.1 and got the recognition they were looking for – earning a 2 Star accreditation, an award for “Best Improver” and 88th place on the Top 100 Small Companies list.

The results of the b-Heard survey confirmed Safety Media in their belief that they were popular among their employees. But it’s also helped them to focus on delivering yearly improvements – something which, in the future, will help them keep and recruit the best talent.
