How some of the most engaged organisations in the UK celebrated Best Companies Day 2020

This year we marked our fifth annual #BestCompaniesDay with a theme of ‘celebrate your tribe’ and bringing the colour!

“A tribe is a group of people connected to one another, connected to a leader, and connected to an idea”

Seth Godin, Marketing guru and author

From Ones to Watch status through to 3-Star accredited, the 28th February saw organisations up and down the country celebrating their people and achievement of a Best Companies status in a variety of creative and exciting ways. Having attained a recognised standard of workplace engagement that many organisations strive for, it was time to have fun and shout about their success in acknowledgement of all they have done to be one of the best places to work and ultimately, their role in helping make the world a better workplace.

Organisations took to social media to share their celebrations, posting photos and videos of activities on the day.

There were themed breakfast buffets and cakes, limbos, mindful Attenborough screenings and even exotic animals in the office. Face paints, fancy dress, DJ’s and confetti – these organisations know how to party! Some extended the goodwill beyond their workplace by incorporating charitable activities into their day or sharing the joy with customers and offering complimentary treats.
