At Atmos International, it's about 'being brilliant together.' The pipeline technology solutions company is continually innovating, with its team sharing their knowledge and skills to offer their clients a quality service.

The Manchester-based company, with offices in the USA, China and Costa Rica, develops hardware and software solutions to detect ruptures, leaks and product thefts on pipelines across the oil, gas, chemical, water, aviation and mining industries. To date, it's applied its technology to over 1,500 pipelines in more than 50 countries.

Staying at the cutting edge requires a team that's always finding ways to make the technology more accessible and cost-effective for even more clients. Employees are encouraged to learn and develop from day courses to MBAs and leadership training.

There's a banding system for engineers giving clear goals on what they need to do to progress to the next level. Seeing themselves move up the ranks every six months to a year, rather than waiting up to four years for a promotion, helps keep them motivated.

And staff benefit from a quarterly profit share bonus and one linked to annual performance. And there's been an average 12 per cent pay increase, reflecting a mid-year pay rise to help offset the increased cost-of-living and an annual pay review that did the same.
