Bible Society exists to make the Bible available and accessible for all. It translates the Bible linguistically and culturally, delivering content that enables people to engage with the Scriptures in many different ways.
Our employees are the heart of what we do and we want them to be the best they can be. To help everyone reach their full potential, our organisation offers each staff member 90 minutes of training time each week. During this time staff can take advantage of Bible Society courses, the LinkedIn Learning platform and many other resources.
Bible Society provides all staff with Insights Discovery Training and 5 Voices training. These programmes teach staff more about themselves, their voices, and their co-workers, enabling them to work more collaboratively and communicate more effectively.
The organisation wants staff to feel supported during the Cost of Living crisis, and so has partnered with Octopus Money coach to offer each staff member a free financial review session. Through the partnership the organisation also provides multiple webinars around key financial topics such as maximising savings, how to manage on less, and how to make the most of the funds available.
It also works hard to ensure that its employees are looked after. Health and wellbeing activities are regularly highlighted through its internal communications channels, and all staff have access to mental health support through Mental Health First Aiders an Employee Assistance Programme.
