The Recruitment and Employment Confederation provide recruitment businesses with a wide range of training, legal, business, and accreditation services. It offers support to all areas of recruitment and sets the standard for the professional body.
The organisation also supports its employees through a number of wellbeing initiatives. Wellbeing is at the forefront of the HR and wider organisational agenda with training, awareness campaigns, and fundraising events taking place throughout the year.
These initiatives range from the implementation and training of support systems such as Mental Health First Aiders, to the simple act of sending smoothies to employees’ homes and having a ‘cheers’ together on a virtual call.
The Recruitment and Employment Confederation also encourages mindfulness and breathing techniques to help employees’ mental wellbeing, and it recently ran a pets day during mental health awareness week which provided a boost to employee happiness and was an opportunity for everyone to get to know each other’s pets!
In addition to its ongoing mental health support, the organisation also helped to support its employees during the cost of living crisis by providing them with two £500 bonus payments as well as a 6% pay increase across the business. The organisation did this as they wanted to be able to support staff during these difficult times.
Furthermore, the organisation has run financial planning sessions for staff to help them to better manage their money and to identify cost savings they can get from shops and retailers etc.
