Launched in the summer of 2012 by Zan Kaufman, Bleecker Burger began life as a food truck, but over the last decade it has grown to 8 quick service restaurants serving award-winning burgers, fries, shakes, and beer.
Bleecker Burger’s slogan is “commitment to the burger”, and it has built a reputation as one of the best burger restaurants in London. In 2019, Bleecker Burger won best burger in the UK and has been on Time Out’s best burger list every year since 2015.
The organisation is passionate about providing an excellent service and product, as well as being a workplace where employees love what they do. It believes in empowering its team to grow and exceed their own expectations.
Bleecker Burger runs quarterly Leadership Workshops for the Management Teams, and has introduced a new Learning Manager to support with building Learning and Development tools, providing hands-on training and promoting internal development at all levels.

In addition to operational training provided on site, Managers also have the opportunity to attend mentoring and coaching programs with topics such as Stress Management, Feedback, and Empowerment and Leadership (how to motivate and drive performance). Every few months, management is invited to attend and qualify as a Mental Health First Aider.
This organisation has a strong social conscience
In memory of founder Zan's brother Mark, who tragically died in April 2017, Bleecker Burger work with Changing Horizons to help support, build awareness around mental health and workplace wellbeing, and provide training to its team and others. Every year on March 1st, Mark’s Birthday, the organisation donates all of its profits the Changing Horizons.
