'Stand Together' is one of the core values of leading independent law firm, Brabners LLP, which aims to create a strong feeling of family amongst its employees.

This togetherness is encouraged through various initiatives, including a virtual staff lounge, where colleagues can connect, hold social events, and stream the annual staff conference.

The conference is just one way Brabners communicates to all employees. It sends regular updates from senior leaders and holds webinars with the CEO and managing partner to answer colleagues' questions.

With offices in Liverpool, Manchester and Preston, Brabners employs national experts in many practice areas. Established in 1815, the firm serves businesses of all sizes, public sector bodies and charities, entrepreneurs and high net-worth individuals.

Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) is woven into the culture at Brabners, through its well-established 'Together Action Group' comprising five affinity groups; whose membership includes colleagues from all areas of the business and at all levels. This model allows employees to identify EDI issues and recommend areas of change, such as the move away from antiquated and gendered language.

The organisation is committed to ensuring fair access to legal careers for everyone, and supports The Sutton Trust's 'Pathways to Law' programme, which offers opportunities for those from less advantaged backgrounds.
