Brighter Places was established in 2021 through the merger of United Communities and Solon South West, and is Bristol’s largest independent housing association.
Brighter Places currently manage 3,300 homes and serve more than 8,100 residents, with ambitious plans for the future. During the last year, Brighter Places has implemented an apprenticeship and trainee programme to stimulate employee career opportunities following several internal applications who didn't quite have the relative skills or experience for a role, but had the right behaviours and values required.
