Caring Connections truly put its employees in the spotlight in recognition of their efforts during the pandemic, with the launch of its ‘Hidden Heroes' campaign. The campaign, which saw all the Merseyside-based charity's frontline social care team recognised and celebrated in the local community, was the brainchild of the organisation's CEO, Paul Growney.
Paul, whose dedication to his staff also saw him personally deliver gifts to every staff member to thank them for their work over the past year, said he is “immensely proud of their achievements and commitment to others” in such challenging times.
The charity, which specialises in providing support services to people to enable them to lead more independent lives, prides itself on caring for its staff as it would for others. This has led to the implementation of initiatives including wellbeing and counselling services for all employees, social events such as weekly quizzes to encourage team building, and an investment in professional development that has seen the organisation form an innovative partnership with Liverpool John Moores University.
Caring Connections is an active recruiter for the local community and aims to be an employer of choice by providing one of the best work experiences within the care sector.
