"Great people, great place to work" is the motto at Creed Foodservice. And this year, it has shown its commitment by running more staff training programmes than ever before.
The programmes have included 360 and insights assessments, team building events, and learning modules such as managing stress, presentation skills, coaching, performance management, and conflict management.
The family-run business was established more than 40 years ago by Terry Creed. The company began running local supermarkets in the Cotswolds, including a small delivery operation that formed the basis of Creed Catering Supplies, as it was known.
Creed is now an ambitious and progressive business, delivering a range of food products, including butchery and fresh food, to caterers across the country, from depots in Gloucestershire, Derbyshire and Buckinghamshire.
Staff are kept informed of what's going on in the company through Creed Digest, a magazine that's sent to all employees each month to update them on plans, successes, people initiatives and charitable events.
The organisation recognises staff who have gone above and beyond and who are in the running for annual awards. And the Creed lottery gives workers the chance to contribute to the charities the company supports and raises approximately £700 a month.
