Digital Mobile Spectrum Limited (DMSL) works for a disruption-free digital life for people across the UK. Set up in 2012 as a joint venture between UK mobile network operators EE, Virgin Media O2, Three and Vodafone, the company connects people to communications and media networks and removes barriers to access.
Within the company, technology is used to ensure team members communicate effectively, work collaboratively and to create a supportive, inclusive, fun and friendly environment.
In 2022, DMSL introduced an Employee Think Tank with the aim of continuously improving employee experience whilst checking it meets their values and culture, and is right for each and everyone in the team.
This group has helped in updating their handbook, enhanced the leave offering and supported the implementation of Responsibility Leave, which recognises that there are times when employees may need to take a period of time away from work to support or care for others or to deal with issues at home. DMSL believe that annual leave should be used for genuine time off to support a healthy workforce and individual wellbeing.
Personal growth is important at DMSL and 2022 saw 82% of the team completing some form of external professional development. DMSL ran workshops on creating a feedback culture and saw 100% attendance. 2023 sees the focus move to coaches as leaders and continuous improvement.
“Our employee engagement is driven by a dynamic and individual approach to the DMSL employee journey. We believe one size fits one.”
