Higher Education Funding Council for England (HEFCE) distribute public money for teaching and research in universities and colleges in England so they can deliver the greatest benefit to students and the wider public. The organisation aims to create and sustain the conditions for a world-leading system of higher education, which transforms lives, strengthens the economy and enriches society. Through its core principles of openness, impartiality, fairness and objectivity, HEFCE also aim to be a great place for employees to work, inviting members of staff to take part in a number of training and development programmes, as well as looking to reduce stress.
