Inspire North set out on its journey in 2018 when the company brought together the work of Community Links and Foundation, two outstanding charities with decades of experience in mental health and housing support.

Working with clients across the north of England, the organisation is creating a world where everyone matters, building brighter futures within the health and social care sector through its organisation family. Inspire North leads with its values: people, passion, integrity, and collaboration.

The company ethos puts people at the heart of everything it does – both the 3000 clients it supported last year and Inspire North’s 460+ employees. It’s the commitment, energy, and dedication of its employees which makes Inspire North a fantastic place to work.

Inspire North cares about its people, with a menopause policy in place to support women experiencing symptoms of menopause or perimenopause. This policy also guides managers in supporting employees with these conditions, if an employee feels uncomfortable speaking to their manager, they are encouraged to speak to a trained member of the People Team.

Inspire North has introduced 'Heads Up' meetings to create stronger relationships across the organisation and to improve cross-team working. It has introduced a lunchtime chess club, not only sharing skills but also encouraging colleagues to take a break. Inspire North also holds an employee conference with over 300 colleagues regularly in attendance.
