Digital agency Kagool unifies the real and digital worlds by creating great experiences that matter to people in their daily lives. The company does so by building and designing innovative and sophisticated websites that help large international companies to achieve their goals on the Sitecore platform.
As a Sitecore Platinum Partner, the agency boasts more Sitecore MVPs (most valuable professionals) than any other UK agency. In 2020, Manchester-based Kagool acquired the Leeds agency Delete, taking its headcount to more than 160 and its offices to four – one more each in the UK in London and Cardiff, and one in New York. It also attracted funding of £6m from investment agency BGF to support its organic and acquisitive growth strategy – and to further develop the team.
Founded in 1999, Kagool delivered a revenue increase of over 50% in the past three years (pre-acqisitions and investment splurges). Clients include Barratt Developments, Parkdean Resorts and Welsh Water, while Delete brings The Open, Guinness Pro14 Rugby, Biffa and Southampton Football Club to the table.
The company believes in offering employees flexible work policies to ensure they have the best work/life balance available to them. Individuals can set their start and finish times and a mix of home-working and office life – once restrictions lift – is available.
To optimise wellbeing, Kagool recently overhauled the perks on offer. These now include an employee assistance programme, an online doctor, holiday trading options, a staff benefits portal and the support of trained mental health first-aiders.
