Based in Bristol but with outlets all over the country, Las Iguanas are the UK's original and most successful Latin American restaurant operator. Led by Managing Director Mos Shamel, Las Iguanas lead the way in contemporary Latin food and drink, vibrant, evocative environments, and superb hospitality. The chain celebrates the flavours, pleasures and joy of Latin American and how they enrich everyday life. Las Iguanas' mission statement is to provide everyday celebration through first-class hospitality and fresh Latin American dishes across the UK and beyond. The company have four core principles: fun, consistency, generosity and passion. These form the framework used to select and recruit employees. All staff must clearly display all four personality traits to be hired, and restaurant managers are trained to recognise them during the screening and interviewing process. This philosophy helps ensure guests experience the same characteristics. Their values are also embedded in the initial training process and in ongoing professional development.
