"An ambitious team" that "encourages growth and being curious" is how Medichecks aims to stay outstanding in its field.
The Nottingham-based company established itself as the UK's first direct-to-consumer blood testing service more than 20 years ago, with a vision "to be part of everyone's journey to better health."
Medichecks now also serves practitioners, corporations, and the NHS with products and services, including blood tests and remote health checks. Results, insights and doctor reports are delivered digitally through a dedicated platform. And it's even easier for customers to get blood tests, with kits now stocked in Boots and Holland and Barrett.
It's an "exciting place to work" for its 80-strong team of medics, designers, developers and communicators, with plenty of opportunities "to create, develop and grow."
The company prioritises staff wellbeing, allowing them to work flexibly and implementing 'meeting free Fridays' to help people focus on tasks without interruption. And there's 15 minutes of fun every Friday, where everyone's invited to take part in a quiz or other game.
Staff are encouraged to take breaks, book holidays and use their two paid-for volunteering days. They also have access to an online wellness hub and GP service, which offers same-day appointments and prescriptions. There are also plenty of team exercise challenges such as 'Walk to New York' or 'Run to Rio.'
