NAViGO employs a wide range of professionals, including mental health practitioners, occupational therapists, social workers, and specialist nurses.
Based in Grimsby, its services encompass acute patient and community units, family therapy, and a specialist eating-disorder facility. It also covers psychiatry, rehab and recovery, personality disorder, and community mental health.
The organisation's goals include achieving equality between staff and service-users, supporting and improving the local population's mental health and wellbeing, promoting social inclusion and choice, and helping service-users to reach their true potential.
"Wobble rooms" - a weekly wellbeing magazine, weekly staff briefings, mental health drop-in sessions, and a round-the-clock confidential support line are provided to look after staff wellbeing.
Employees also appreciated a course of massage sessions. The award-winning social enterprise, which provides health services across north-east Lincolnshire, aims to deliver the kind of care and support that the people who work there would be happy for their own families to use.
Staff can also take advantage of flexible working, leadership initiatives, an in-house occupational health service, salary sacrifice, a cycle scheme, loans, local and national discounts, and a staff awards programme.
The organisation raises funds for the Gardiner Hill Foundation, which aids its local communities. Last year, it also sponsored the Grimsby 10k race, which included providing a refreshment station.
It has also developed a community allotment, which is supported by staff, volunteers, and service-users.
