Technology support company Novatech is a ‘place where passion for what you do is embraced.’

The Portsmouth-based company has been supporting B2B and B2C consumers and enthusiasts with their technology needs for over 35 years, building desktops, laptops and servers. It also has its own PC gaming brand.

Novatech prides itself on its great value and customer service – something it can only deliver by having a passionate workforce. And this passion is nurtured through a workplace that offers freedom, support and care.

Staff can focus on the projects that interest them most, knowing they can always ask for help. And CEO David Furby is ‘hands-on,’ walking around the office and listening to colleagues at every opportunity.

Employees get flexibility on when and where they work, with a requirement to be in the office just one day a week. But team cohesion and energy are kept high with all company office days with free, themed lunches and social allowances to encourage people to go out together.

And Novatech’s gaming expertise also keeps people connected, with some teams regularly using gaming platforms to chat and play together on breaks.

Recognition plays a big part in day-to-day life at the company, whether it’s the generous profit share scheme or receiving a STAR award – a letter of thanks and a voucher – for outstanding effort.
