Thriving managed IT services provider OryxAlign says it has created a company where staff want to turn up every day, as well as one that motivates everyone to be the best they can be. It initiates policies and encourages behaviours that are essential for career progression, professional fulfilment and personal wellbeing.

OryxAlign, which is based in London but has offices in Manchester, Cork and Manila, plans, designs and enables the procurement, implementation, protection and management of a wide range of modern technologies. Its culture is driven by the diversity of its talented, cosmopolitan workforce.

It encourages staff to have the self-confidence to seize the initiative, innovate and embrace the theme "all for one OxyAlign” as an abiding characteristic in collective behaviour. Trust, loyalty, self-discipline and support for each other are central to the company’s ethos.

Chief executive Carl Henriksen says: "It is vital that all our employees feel valued. They want to be remunerated fairly and supported in times of need, confident in the knowledge that their professional careers are being well managed, their training needs are being addressed and their potential is being recognised."

Last year the company introduced an employee assistance programme, which provides a round-the-clock helpline, counselling, a resource library and tools to support mental and physical wellbeing.

It also set up a social and wellbeing committee, which meets bi-weekly to discuss how staff can be supported. It runs monthly wellbeing initiatives and organises social events.
