The long-established firm, whose products are supplied to some of the leading names in aeronautical production, is striving to develop a highly skilled, competent, and dedicated team, whilst fostering a culture of innovation and continuous learning.

In combination with its ongoing recruitment drive, in 2021 it launched a bespoke training programme for new starters, to equip them with the specialist skills they need to understand the nature of the work and operate the sophisticated machinery it has on its production sites within six weeks – particularly important as the firm enjoys a period of growth and expansion that has seen it invest in new equipment.

As part of its ‘People Plan’, Sample Company has also recently developed a new apprenticeship programme, working with schools and colleges in the area to promote the opportunity to join the two-year programme to local students. All new recruits are given dedicated training and the opportunity to work on live projects, enabling them to actively contribute whilst learning.
