Staff at TBAT Innovation, a research and development funding support provider, are "not your typical accountants". Instead, they are technologists from a wide variety of technology backgrounds. The company helps organisations that are conducting research and development.

Based in Castle Donington, in Leicestershire, TBAT also has an office in Oxford. Its services focus on helping businesses to gain grants and tax incentives to fund and drive innovation. These include grant funding, research and development tax credits, video games tax relief, capital allowances and help with the government's Seed Enterprise Investment Scheme and Enterprise Investment Scheme.

The company prides itself on conducting work with trust, transparency and honesty, while respect is the value that underpins the business, ensuring that an inclusive environment is provided for staff and clients.

Staff can take part in charity events organised throughout the year, along with quarterly social events. There is also a company cycling club. When it comes to mental health, TBAT supports staff with “wellbeing days” and has four mental health first aiders.
