In the heart of London's fashionable Marylebone, The Landmark London Hotel has a stunning glass-roofed, 8-story atrium with towering palm trees, an award-winning restaurant, luxurious bedrooms and an indoor pool and spa.

The hotel itself was opened as 'The Great Central Hotel' in 1899 with 700 bedrooms. It was the last of the great Victorian railway hotels constructed during 'the golden age of steam'. It became The Landmark London in 1995 and since then has seen a lot of success and achievements.

The Landmark London is proud of its historic building but, moreover, what it has achieved as an organisation. It has been working hard to provide the best 5* service in London, making sure every guest has a memorable experience. It also works hard to ensure its team members have a memorable experience, too. This starts with the recruitment process, where it strives to provide positive experience and give candidates the best possible first impression of the hotel’s culture.

The recruitment process itself has some unique features, including an initiative where the whole team decides which candidate is offered the job, not just management. There’s a referral scheme on offer with incentives for each successful recruit, and The Hotel has adopted flexible contracts to ensure its working hours are as inclusive as possible.

Having fun is important to The Landmark London and it regularly organises social activities and coffee mornings throughout the year to bring colleagues together to enjoy themselves away from a work setting.
