Growing at a remarkable rate, the team behind The Manufacturing Technology Centre (MTC) is united in its vision to inspire British manufacturing on a global stage.
Beginning with 44 forward-thinking employees in 2011, the MTC has expanded to over 800 at its awe-inspiring campus at Ansty Park, Coventry and its new offices in Liverpool.
The MTC's expert employees are at the heart of the operation, which now covers not only research and development and training but also advanced manufacturing management and factory design.

The enterprise – a collaboration by the University of Birmingham, Loughborough University, the University of Nottingham, and TWI Ltd, based in Cambridge – has now added extra facilities including the Advanced Manufacturing Training Centre and the National Centre for Additive Manufacturing.
With some of the most advanced equipment in the world, its facilities provide a competitive environment to bridge the gap between university-based research and the development of innovative manufacturing solutions in line with the government's manufacturing strategy.
That sets the scene for the MTC to encourage young people into exciting careers in engineering where they can develop and embed technologies that will impact British industry for years to come, enabling businesses to make goods faster at higher quality and lower cost.

MTC wants all of its teams to be high performing. It has a recognition and reward culture through its 'Celebrate Success - Team Building initiative' which exists to help teams recognise and review their achievements and celebrate their successes. Teams are encouraged to use their own time to have fun socially.
This organisation is run on strong values / principles
It uses a 'Strategy on a page' document, available on its intranet which clearly sets out its vision, mission, and purpose. The Exec team also host a quarterly State of the Nation event where they share updates on its objectives’ progress, changes to strategy, organisational challenges, and financial performance.
