And with more than 180 staff across six offices in Swansea, Pembrokeshire, Hereford, Newport, London, and its Caerphilly HQ, life is busy.
But that doesn't get in the way of the company striving to make it a great place to work.
All staff have the chance to win a week's holiday at a five-star hotel in Madeira, with the longest serving getting the most entries into the yearly prize draw.
And while holidays are great, the directors recognise that the pay packet also counts. Employees have benefitted from salary increases to mitigate the rising cost of living and increased National Insurance contributions.
Staff also share in the company’s profits made through dividends.
Thomas Carroll recognises that staff also value long-term financial security. It offers a 'stage to thrive', supporting structured career progression and attracting new employees.
It recently took on two new starters through Kickstart – a government scheme aimed at getting young people at risk of long-term unemployment into work.
Thomas Carroll's staff and clients aren't the only ones to reap the rewards of its efforts. In 2022, its charitable trust gifted 400 pairs of new Christmas pyjamas to underprivileged children in the Welsh Valleys.
And in the spirit of giving is better than receiving, Thomas Carroll aims to celebrated its 50th birthday by raising £50,000 for charities nominated by its staff.

The course is tailored so that it embeds the ethos and culture that Thomas Carroll wants to maintain. The leadership team has committed once again to further investment in this area, so that its managers receive refresher training.
