Tobermore Concrete Products Ltd are a European Quality Award winning company. They are dedicated to excellence in the manufacture and the supply of paving and walling products to the landscape and construction markets throughout Ireland and the UK. Managers are coached by the senior team through job shadowing and coaching. There are weekly meetings with the senior team to see how the manager is progressing in their role. There is an ‘open door' policy with senior managers so trainee managers have easy access in case of any problems or issues they encounter. Every July, Tobermore have a staff appreciation day that all staff members are invited to. A large marquee and external caterers are recruited to prepare a BBQ for all staff who attend the event. The managing director addresses the staff and recognises their hard work and contribution throughout the year. Other staff events include horse racing at Down Royal and the Foylehov Activity Day that involves hovercrafting, laser tag and power buggies.
