The 129 staff at the company, which develops software packages for the legal and professional services sectors, also give it an 82% positive mark for their job being good for personal growth. Most employees are under 35, which has led to more family-friendly initiatives, and another goal is for staff to have fun, aided by a budget of almost £500 per head for social events. It follows that people say their team is fun to work with (86%) and that team-mates go out of their way to help them (80%). Drinks and birthday lunches help staff feel appreciated and they feel they make a valuable contribution to the success of the company (82%). Staff, whose benefits include a share of the profits, free healthcare and reduced gym membership, give chairman Neil Ewin, who set up Visualfiles almost 21 years ago, their support with an 82% positive score for doing a great job.
