As a supplier to the charity sector, British software and service business, Advanced, knows what a difficult year it has been for fundraisers. So, to mark Remembrance Day, the firm donated £50,000 to the Royal British Legion, a long-standing customer, to help the organisation bridge the gap in donations it would have received by selling poppies in October and November.

Advanced's active UK Charity Committee also organised competitions and activities to raise money for a variety of good causes and donated the money it would have spent on Christmas parties to charities selected by staff, living up to its Do The Right Thing value.

Based in Slough with offices around the UK and across the globe from the US and India to Australia, Canada and France, Advanced has 20,000 customers including the NHS, London City Airport and Harvey Nichols. The business, which challenges staff to Dare to Be Different, hires for potential, assessing behaviour and aptitude, rather than knowledge and experience, believing the majority of learning takes place by doing. Entry-level staff follow a functional-specific development programme but development opportunities include a range of upskilling and role preparation courses, including a Future Managers Programme.

Advanced has its sights set on becoming the number one provider of software and services in the UK, aiming to double its revenue in the next four years and strives to be the employer of choice by investing in staff from training to financial rewards for those exceeding expectations and fast promotions for rising stars.

What’s a Rich Text element?

The rich text element allows you to create and format headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, images, and video all in one place instead of having to add and format them individually. Just double-click and easily create content.

Static and dynamic content editing

A rich text element can be used with static or dynamic content. For static content, just drop it into any page and begin editing. For dynamic content, add a rich text field to any collection and then connect a rich text element to that field in the settings panel. Voila!

How to customize formatting for each rich text

Headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, figures, images, and figure captions can all be styled after a class is added to the rich text element using the "When inside of" nested selector system.
