In brief, Advanced Technology Services (ATS) reduce waste in manufacturing. They work with customers to improve productivity and profitability through the management of production equipment maintenance, industrial parts services and IT solutions. Customers include multinational companies such as Eaton, Johnson & Johnson and Caterpillar. The company began in as an idea sketched on a napkin, when 32 people set out to form an independent company that would fill a gap in the services industry. Today, under Chief Executive Officer Jeffrey Owens, ATS are a US-owned business with more than 3,000 employees, and operate globally in the US, Mexico and the UK across multiple locations. ATS are committed to a culture consisting of eight pillars: safety, leadership, people, processes, communication, relationships, value, and results. Safety is the foundation on which everything is built, with a focus on continuous improvement.
