Staff at Airtime Rewards are given a stake in the company when they join. The market-leading consumer loyalty and marketing technology platform aims to ensure that its employees take pride and responsibility in what they do.

The platform allows customers to reduce their mobile phone bill through its digital rewards currency. Working alongside big retailers and mobile network operators, it gives users of its app the chance to cut bills by shopping.

Airtime Rewards has partnered with more than 80 brands, including Argos, Boots and Asda, so that when customers spend they clock up rewards that cut their phone bill.

The company is the brainchild of Josh Graham and Adam Ward, who have spent the past 15 years working with mobile networks and global brands, designing and building acquisition and retention programmes — the team was behind Orange Wednesdays.

They saw the power of rewarding loyalty with something customers wanted — and they changed behaviour. At its peak, eight million people used Orange Wednesdays to get their two-for-one cinema tickets — making Wednesdays the new busiest day of the cinema-going week.

Airtime Rewards launched in 2016 and has 34 staff working in its London and Manchester offices. Team members are encouraged to be themselves. Individualism is the cornerstone of its culture and the company wants everyone to be able to contribute new ideas and work together to make something groundbreaking. "Difference makes us different, and we’re proud of that," it says.

Quote from the top...
We’ve welcomed 16 new colleagues in a little over the last 12 months and as we all start to reconnect after the impacts of COVID it’s now more important than ever to focus on our team’s engagement. This ranges from the little things like our ice breaker Q&A on a new colleague's first day through to giving everyone ownership in the business from day one, and everything in between including a full EAP supporting physical and mental health, training and development opportunities (and extensive budget) or our Social Committee. Our colleagues are the heartbeat of what we do, taking the business to where it is today, so it’s vital we commit to their ongoing engagement and development and repay their investment in the business.
