AND Digital's mission is to help clients accelerate the development of their digital capabilities. To do this efficiently and creatively, it has established a special organisational structure.
Each ANDi, as the staff members are known, is part of a small, tight-knit cross-functional team called a Squad. Six to eight Squads, with some specialist roles and a leadership team, make a Club, serving up to 12 clients. Each Club has its own physical space – a Clubhouse – with its own management team, and the autonomy to make decisions when it comes to its people and clients.
The company is based in London's Covent Garden and has offices across the country. It was launched in 2014 but aims to retain the pace, close relationships and individuality of its early days and stay true to its core values: wonder, share and delight.
AND has a partnership with CodeFirstGirls that has helped to increase participation and interest in coding in the communities where the company is located. The initiative has also helped to drive more women to apply for roles at AND.
To encourage professional development, each ANDi has a dedicated team of career coaches providing support and guidance. To ensure managers' skills were kept fresh during the pandemic, AND worked with Team Sterka to offer weekly training sessions on topics such as powerful presenting and creating lasting relationships.

AND implemented a full schedule of social activities, led by the leadership team, during the pandemic. Highlights included Don't Dine With Me, where staff created meals that included a particular ingredient, such as peas, and shared the results via videos and photos. The weekly Zoom socials included a live band.
My team is fun to work with
Staff are given 10 days a year to focus on their development through upskilling. They can use these days in a variety of ways, such as doing qualifications or attending internally run workshops. The company also offers five innovation days a year, where staff can work on their own initiatives.

The company has rolled out a flexible benefits package and platform, called AND Be You, with a new range of core benefits that support financial and physical wellbeing.
