Last year, Atmos International won a Queen's Award for Industry in the category of innovation, thanks to its Atmos Wave product. The company provides pipeline leak detection, theft detection and simulation technology to oil, gas, water and associated industries across the world. Atmos Wave detects the negative pressure wave caused by a leak in a pipeline.

It is just one of the developments in software, hardware and instrumentation that the company is responsible for. It helps pipeline operators globally to have more sensitive and accurate equipment, but Atmos's technical leadership in the industry is also one its greatest tools for attracting top talent.

The company recognises that growth comes through the skills of its people and looks after them by making counselling available to anyone requiring wellbeing support. It also runs popular positive-mindset training courses. In a fast-moving technology-led industry, continual training to keep abreast of change is vital to success in the marketplace. Atmos's Training Manager has developed an online technical training programme that updates every week.
