Britain's eighth-busiest airport which, before the Covid pandemic, handled more than nine million passengers a year, aims to be the UK's most sustainable airport and everyone's favourite. Over the past 10 years, Bristol airport, which serves the south-west and Wales, has invested heavily in infrastructure, thanks to the backing of its long-term shareholders.
In spite of the challenges faced by the airline and travel industry over the past two years, the company's ambition remains strong. Not only is it committed to providing passengers with safe and amazing travel opportunities, it is also determined to be a leader in sustainable travel.
By the end of last year, the airport announced that it would be carbon neutral, four years ahead of schedule, and the UK's first net-zero airport by 2030, 20 years ahead of the government's target.
It says its staff are skilled, passionate and confident, and are dedicated to providing great service in a relaxed and friendly manner.
According to Chief Executive Dave Lees: "We want Bristol Airport to be a great place to work, with a culture of innovation, collaboration, learning and empowerment, inspiring challenge and high performance.
"We all perform better and collaborate more effectively when we have a true sense of purpose, and we have used the past 18 months to recalibrate how we listen, inform, engage and empower."
