Established in 1992, CAE Technology Services is an IT infrastructure solutions provider with a service-led approach combining technology, people, and process.

Starting from a small team to now having over 300 employees across six UK locations, the company’s dedication to “people and outcomes” is what differentiates them, along with its company culture, excellent working environments, and development opportunities.

CAE recognises that by living its values, its people are the source of its agility and are ultimately the reason for the organisation’s success, and so it puts learning and development at the forefront of the business. The company encourages and supports development in a variety of ways to ensure that every employee has the opportunity for growth, such as giving staff the option to work closely with managers to create a personal development plan specific to their personal and professional goals, as well as providing access to a number of learning and development programmes including an APM Apprenticeship, 12-month ‘Raising Your Profile’ programme, internal coaching from the SLT and an 18-month management development programme.

Promoting diversity and inclusion within the workforce, the company has an internal Diversity and Inclusion group and hosts multiple D&I workshops to keep colleagues informed. An equal opportunities employer, the company is committed to eliminating discrimination and encouraging diversity across the workforce. Policies and procedures have been put in place to support applications from people with disabilities for roles within the organisation and it continues to review its policies to ensure it does not support unconscious bias.

Quote from the top...
At CAE employee engagement is at the heart of everything we do. Our commitment to employee engagement weaves through everything we do, from company meetings to our employee forum there is always a way our people can engage. One of our values is ‘Loving your Job’. How can you love your job if you are not engaged? The answer to that is, you can’t. We choose to take part in the Best Companies survey, the insights we gain are enormous, but what is hard to gauge is a true feeling, and engagement is very much a feeling. From workshops to roadshows the CAE Leadership Team engages with every part of the business to deep dive into our data. We talk openly and honestly about how we feel and why we feel the way we do. We are passionate about the right person being in the right role, it’s important to us that every single person feels valued, adds value and knows that they matter.
