One example of how they keep the values alive is in their yearly values award, which is voted for by employees in Chugai. The Managing Director invites everyone in the company to vote for the individual that they think should be recognised for outstanding values, individuals provide a short paragraph explaining why they have selected that person with evidence/examples. The individual who receives the most amount of votes is recognised at a corporate meeting and a monetary reward is given.
