Southampton-based Clearvision wants to make life calmer as well as more enjoyable for its staff. Its Hearts and Minds initiative is dedicated to improving their mental and physical wellbeing with support such as on-site yoga, meditation sessions and specialist talks.

The company, which also has a base across the Atlantic in Philadelphia, offers software and IT services including consultancy, hosting and training. Product innovations include ClearHub, the world's only Atlassian contractor network. With over 20 years of empowering teams to build better solutions, Clearvision experts have helped more than 700 businesses around the world.

Clearvision has a strong charity policy, with every employee allowed to take one day a quarter to volunteer with a local good cause. Under a new initiative, employees who achieve 10 years' service will be given £500 to donate to their chosen charity when volunteering.

The company's employee engagement group, called Cheervision, has always been active but came into its own during the pandemic. Activities such as online keep fit and quizzes for employees' children helped to keep the team connected.

Most recently, came an inter team collaboration - borne from a suggestion which has been incredibly valuable. Teams will get together on a rotational basis to work through successes and challenges, and to learn about other teams.
