“Our spirit drives our work,” goes the mission at Peterborough-based Cross Keys Homes, and its 308 people feel united in Giving Something Back (the strongest factor at work). The association manages 10,000 homes, plus shops, garages, a care service and housebuilding project. It has a hardship fund to help vulnerable people and encourages everyone to get involved with charitable activities (89%). It does a lot to protect the environment (85%), installing solar panels and better insulation, and employing a dedicated graduate officer plus ‘green champions' volunteers.
