Demica is a fintech, powering the trade finance programmes of the world’s largest trade banks and corporations. Seven years ago Demica was a startup in the shell of a much older company – nine people and a vision of how to transform trade finance.
Today, the company has a team over 250 people (which includes their outsourcing technology partners) and US$20bn of funded programmes running on its multi-product platform.
Each year Demica has invested over 25% of revenue in research and development and expects to continue to grow at 35-50% per year for foreseeable future.

Demica set up a wellness working group to make sure that it provide support and access to resources for its employees, these initiatives include: World Mental Health Day awareness, Movember, Mental Health Champions, introduction of the Balance App, and World Suicide Prevention Day awareness.
My organisation encourages charitable activities
Since starting its Giving Something Back initiative in 2022, the organisation has raised over £7,000 for various causes. It has also recognised International Humanitarian Day by inviting two external speakers to give a talk, conducted a charity ‘Bring and Buy’ to fundraise for Save the Children, and worked with Career Ready.
This organisation has a strong social conscience
With an Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) Policy in place, Demica is committed to doing its bit for the environment. The organisation recognises its responsibility to the environment and aim to reduce its impact by reducing use of paper, minimising energy and water waste and optimising the consumption of office supplies.
