The art of making “anything possible” has been at the core of the culture at creative communications agency drpg for four decades. The company began as a small video production team back in 1980 and is now an international multi-channel organisation comprising 350-plus people across seven locations in the UK, Germany, Ireland and the US.
Hosting the largest and most comprehensive corporate communication complex in the UK, drpg provides clients with video, events and digital content right through to integrated research, strategy and creative communications services.
CEO Dale Parmenter is passionate about nurturing new talent and putting his people first. drpg has appeared in the best 100 companies to work for list at No 16 and in 2020 was awarded the Investors in People platinum standard, one of only 70 companies in the UK. In 2016, Dale was honoured with a fellowship award for services to Communication, presented at the House of Lords.
At the start of the pandemic, he updated everyone on the latest developments weekly, giving a sense of security with this transparency, openness and visibility. Daily and weekly virtual team huddles became important – even if the meeting was just a coffee and a laugh.
The company's central facilities based in Hartlebury, Worcestershire, span over 4.2 acres, with three film and photography studios, eight edit suites, motion graphics studio, digital innovation lab, print facility, construction workshop, design studio and much more. Sectors served have included retail, manufacturing, automotive and financial, and IT.

Lockdown gave the business the opportunity to stop and reflect on the training offered and the result was a complete overhaul of the online training system, moving to a new system with increased content compatibility and accessibility for all. The drpg Academy was also relaunched as the home for all development needs.
My team is fun to work with
People at the company felt everyone was in unprecedented times together and so the focus was on open conversations, transparency and regular updates. Every week saw a TV-style programme give news on what was happening, how drpg was doing, what needed doing, and with people able to ask questions and comment
