Established in 1980, Ecovis Wingrave Yeats (EWY) are a chartered accountants and business advisory company with international expertise through the Ecovis network. Clients range from private individuals and entrepreneurial SMEs to multinational corporations. EWY aim to build a niche, independent practice that has an enviable reputation in each of its core market sectors. They also wish to grow the firm both in terms of size and profitability and to reach £8m turnover with eight partners by 2020. The company's core values and visions are important to the firm, and are the focus of the annual staff away day. Here staff enjoy a number of relationship and team-building events that have included a tug-of-war, penalty shoot-out and sharing of local office traditions. EWY is based in London and led by Managing Partner David Miles. David strongly believes that professional service firms should engage with their staff by recognising, understanding and celebrating the potential of individuals.
