Established in 2010, EE, part of BT Group, are the largest and most advanced mobile communications company in the UK, delivering mobile and fixed communications services to consumers. The company operates more than 409 sites across the UK and employs more than 14,000 people. The core principles (EE Values) are embedded in performance culture at EE. ‘Personal', ‘simple' and ‘brilliant' are the words used to provide a universal language for employees to describe their common approach to delivering individual and business objectives. EE have a range of employee engagement schemes in place, covering every aspect of the workplace. Once example is their dedication to personal development - last year, they successfully launched their Digital Academy to help staff improve their digital skills based on their personal needs and ability. The company is led by Chief Executive Officer Marc Allera, who writes a weekly update that is posted on the internal communication platform, Splash, which is very well read. This helps to give regular updates on what is happening within the company and lets staff know what Marc has been up to.
