Entrepreneur Antony grew EKM at the age of 22 from his bedroom and more than 70 world-class e-commerce experts now work from its Preston-based office. During the past year, Antony and his leadership team have taken a lot of time out of their schedules to ensure good company communications. Regular morning Hangout calls discuss work challenges and successes. Managers organise monthly Zoom games that include quizzes, escape rooms and bingo. They have also sent out gifts and keeping-in-touch cards so that some communication and engagement takes place in a physical capacity rather than just virtually.

One thing that employees were worried about was that they would be forced to come back into the office before they were ready, so EKM has instead given people the option to work from home even after lockdown lifts for as long as they wish.
