Specialist education recruitment company Engage Partners believes that ‘happy and supported people do their best work.’

And this approach underpins the Watford-based company’s work, whether that’s providing schools with the top teaching talent for the next generation of children or creating an environment where its ‘employees look forward to coming to work each day.’

Engage Partners has a UK-based team of around 90 employees across four offices in Watford, London, Brighton and Leeds, and also has a global presence with teams as far afield as South Africa and Australia.

Wherever its staff are based, the company looks to get the best out of them. It aims to make the day-to-day easier by letting employees choose when and where they work and offering them all shorter working hours during the 13 weeks of school holiday every year.

It’s also about giving employees the tools to be successful recruiters, including those without experience. For the past eight years, its training academy has spawned the most successful consultants in the business – consultants who are now mentoring and managing other trainees.

And staff who successfully recommend recruits to Engage Partners are rewarded handsomely from £1000 to £2000 depending on the level of the role advertised. Four in 10 of the company’s hires are found this way.
