Taking on board feedback from the last Best Companies survey, managed services provider, Fitzrovia IT, has improved communication across the company.
Departments send email updates about changes and new clients that have been brought on board, as well as passing on good customer feedback. The aim is ensure that staff know what is happening in the business and feel more engaged with it.
Staff also asked for more social events, so each department has been encouraged to have a monthly social evening, and a company-wide event is planned to give them the chance to interact with colleagues as well as other departments.
Fitzrovia started out as an in-house IT support team but quickly grew into a 55-strong managed services provider in the heart of London, working for clients of all sizes.
The company knows that it is only as good as its team, so building lasting relationships with employees is just as important as building them with clients. It is committed to supporting staff by providing continued professional development, a generous holiday allowance and friendly working environment.
