Founded by Dinesh Shah in 1984, Flair Rugs, based in Glossop in Derbyshire, has grown into a multi-million-pound company designing, sourcing, and selling rugs globally. Despite its growth, family values remain at the heart of everything it does.

Headed now by Dinesh's son, Neel, with teams in the UK and India, Flair Rugs is a trade-only company, supplying its award-winning products to selected retailers across the world.

During their first week, new starters spend time with each department from the design team to the warehouse to understand how the business operates. The organisation’s fun and friendly culture is based on the belief that looking after your team, your customers, your suppliers, and the environment isn't just the right way to work; it's the only way to work.

Employees work hard and play hard at Flair Rugs, which arranges and funds social activities – including two annual events – one in the summer and one in the winter. The firm also gifts staff a day off on their birthday and, recognising that they have busy lives outside work, offers flexible working options.

All employees are entitled to enhanced maternity and paternity pay, as well as having access to the company’s Private Healthcare Plan. Flair rugs also runs an employee referral scheme, offering £500 for the introduction of its next colleague.
